Cranky Franks 

This week I write to you from somewhere wonderfully familiar, one of my favorites, Cranky Frank’s. This bright blue building has been a staple for BBQ in Fredericksburg over the last decade. So much so that you’ll notice  their hours are listed as 11 – SOLD OUT, and that tends to happen fast. You’ll know they sold old out if you’ve come after 11:30 but before about 2, and you see the large parking lot off of 87 empty. That kind of rush is enough to make anyone a little cranky, but there’s a good reason for Frank and Fred’s long standing friendship.
