Today I write to you from one of my favorite backroad breakfast beverage houses, Ranch Road Roasters. This adorable coffee cabin is on the west side of Main Street, one building off Milam St. If you are a coffee critic, then this is the spot for you. The owners, Daniel Roemer and his wife, opened their doors in 2011 and have been been waking Fredericksburg up every Wednesday through Saturday for the last five years. Every bag is filled with the highest quality beans from a single farm per bag, vetted by the standards of Daniels own taste buds. The bean is only half the reason you’ll go nuts over this coffee, the true test of a roaster, is how they craft their brew.
